Another review this week by Seriously Reviewed!
Review: All I can really say is that Ms Shay has done it again! Crafting a spell-binding #3 to follow Witch's Heart #2, and Witch's Brew-the first in the series. Kali and Koran T are a fantastic couple who have denied the sexual attraction for about as long as they can. With to many laugh out loud scenes to name, and some really steamy, squirm in your seat scenes it is a great story I have no doubt will leave you wanting more.
With the series still going and the tale becoming more intoxicating as you go through it, I am sure you won't be able to stop at just one. Ms. Shay continues to stagger me with her ability to craft a story that ALWAYS delivers and leaves me giddy for the next.
I bow down to the great one. Ms. Shay, you are my hero!
Can't get any better than that.

New Review for Witch's Brew
Seriously Reviewed posted a new review of Tab's first published book, Witch's Brew.
Review: Brisk, sexy and laugh till you pee! I found the hero, Talon to be super sexy. The heroine, Saylym to be feisty and funny. And the entire realm of Ru-Noc to be a captivating delight for the senses and the imagination. I have not laughed this hard in a long time. The bed in the story is a perfect example of some of the most creative imagination I have seem in a long time.
The bad guys in the story make it all the better. They are the kind you LOVE to hate. It thrills me to no end this series will continue. I have the first three, so you can expect to see the reviews for the other two very soon, but I have to say, Ms Shay has gotten a new fan just off the first one. I can't wait to see what happens in the next story.
The cover was very nice, no major editing issues. At $6.95 US for the pdf I think it is very well worth it. I have no doubt if you like love, magic and laughter, you will find this story a total delight.
Congrats, Ms Shay. Here is to many wonderful stories ahead!

Movie Reviews
It's summer, and that means crappy tv and more Netflix. I have been setting the DVR for Top Chef Masters and So You Think You Can Dance. The former is not as entertaining as I'd like, and SYTYCD refuses to cooperate with the DVR. The last two episodes recorded only audio with blank screen.
So here are the movies we've been watching:
Eh. I didn't like it. It took us two nights to watch it because someone couldn't stay awake. I had trouble following the plot and knowing who all the characters were. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the ranking positions of the Nazi military. It didn't matter because I knew how it would end. Hitler committed suicide. No plots to overthrow him ever worked. I think I would've preferred German accents or something. I thought more than once if they were American spies in the German army. Then I saw them writing in German. Lame.
The reviews on this one weren't very good, but I liked it regardless. It had a few interesting stories of illegal immigrants living in the country. It was told from the point of view of a immigration officer who sympathized with the illegals (Harrison Ford). He enforced the law yet treated them as human beings who were suffering. It was a good story without being preachy or trying to sway your opinion on the matter. For each immigrant's story, it explained why they were in the country, the hardships they faced becoming citizens, yet it still acknowledged they were breaking the law. It's not for everyone, but I liked it.
Skip it. I couldn't understand what they were saying ever. It was set in Australia, but they were Irish descendants. What you ended up with were Australians, Brits, and Americans trying to do an Irish accent. Don't watch without subtitles. Actually, don't watch at all. It wasn't that entertaining.
This was a surprise. I liked this movie. I know, it's crazy. I hated American Pie because of all the raunchy sex jokes. I don't find screwing an apple pie or sticking a flute up the hooha all that funny. I thought Fired Up was going to be a knock off of that. It was surprisingly good. The movie made fun of itself a lot. There was a scene where 300 cheerleaders sat on the lawn and quoted Bring It word-for-word, syllable-for-syllable. And at the end, during their final routine, they decide to change something last minute to go for the win. One of the characters said, "This seems like a lot of talking! I don't know, but should we be talking?" It was hilarious because it was exactly what I was thinking.
Snnnoooorrreeee. I watched the first half hour before I decided the back of my eyelids were more interesting. An Interpol agent was working with a Manhattan detective to get the Germans' to agree to investigate a bank that wanted to control the debt of the mafia and warlords? I think I have that right. I honestly didn't get it. Isn't that what banks do? They control debt? Who cares if the mafia took a loan from them. That's not illegal. It's possible I completely misunderstood. Even so, the movie wasn't good enough to make me try to understand.
Fantastic. You have to see it. I did not anticipate that ending at all. It was a great movie about a racial old timer. He's stuck in a neighborhood that used to be nice, but now he's surrounded "gooks" (his term, not mine). His own family only care about what he's going to leave them in the will. They don't have time for him because he's mean to them; he's mean to them because they don't value family. However the "gooks" next door are very family oriented, and he realizes he fits in with them. He makes friends with the teenage boy, teaches him how to be a handyman, and fights off the gangs trying to recruit him. It's a wonderful story.
For the amount of famous people in this movie, it should've been better. Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connolly, Jennifer Anniston, Scarlet Johansson, Ben Affleck, Justin Long...what are all those talented people doing in this? It's not a romantic comedy, if that's what you are thinking. It's not funny and doesn't try to be. It just tells the story of several couples and then ends. If it wasn't for all the famous people and their wonderful acting ability, I'd probably dislike it even more. BTW, did you notice the extra words in the title? Just and That? "He's not into you" is a better sentence. Just saying.
I liked it. It was a typical Robin Hood story: people living in the woods, trying to survive, stealing from the rich to feed the poor. But it was idealistic. This Robin Hood didn't throw open his arms at the chance to shelter everyone, and he didn't hesistate to kill someone if they broke the rules of the community. It was how life would really be, if you were hunted from your home and had to hide in the forest. Families were redefined, and you were only valued if you had a skill to help stay alive. Accountants had to learn a trade very quickly.
Another one I couldn't stay awake for. I have a feeling it was pretty terrible. I know I didn't laugh. I bet I picked up my laptop and entertained myself on the internet before passing out. Really can't tell you much about this movie, except that I remember putting it in the player and pressing play. Completely unmemorable after that.
Cute romantic comedy. I laughed a few times. I thought Zellweger's character could've been a little tougher. Her first impression of the love interest was a dirty, beer drinking, rude guy. They fight and hate each other, until one day, he rescues her car from a snow bank. Now he's the love interest. Despite that cheesy plot, it wasn't a bad movie. A bit unpredictable for a romantic comedy.
